The research paper on Queen Nanny of the Maroons may need a more defined thesis. While the paper points out that Queen Nanny was passionately against slavery, and quickly became the savior of this island in great need, it does not state a direct claim. The research paper may seem clearer if the thesis revolves around the answer to a question such as How did Queen Nannys passion against slavery benefited her people

The paper may also need a more thorough proofreading as there seems to be some punctuation marks needed and some excess punctuation that can be omitted. For example, the sentence, Jamaica the beautiful island of paradise is located in the Caribbean Sea, may be written well as Jamaica, the beautiful island of paradise, is located in the Caribbean Sea. The research paper might also benefit from a stricter observance of proper casing. For example,  the 7 National Heroes maybe written as the seven national heroes where the apostrophe () is to be replaced by quotation marks.

The research paper might also need a better closing. It is apparent that Queen Nanny is a great woman, a great warrior, and a great fighter of freedom. However, while this is inculcated in the last paragraph, how it was written is quite weak. Perhaps, instead of What is known though is her great contribution to Jamaican History. Her fights and struggles to free the Jamaican and African people from slavery. Her teachings of freedom and independence live on today, the last sentences will be better if it is written in a way such as this  Nonetheless, Queen Nanny is woman who will forever be remembered for her great contribution to Jamaican history, her fight and struggles to free the Jamaican and African people from slavery, and her teachings of freedom and independence that live on up to our modern times.
